I've actually bought a ticket to see a gig!

This Friday, I will be at the wonderfully named Beaverwood Club in Chislehurt to see Glamstar. A bunch of middle aged blokes wrapped in Bacofoil. They will be playing a selection of songs from my formative years, by the likes of Slade, Sweet, Bowie, T-Rex, Mott The Hoople, Suzi Quatro, Queen, Mud, Alice Cooper, Elton John and more.

Just seen on the venue website, it's sold out. Get in!

Forgot to say it before.

Saw My Chemical Romance play Monday night at the Eden Project in Cornwall, the first gig they've played in the UK in 10 years, it was amazing.

I bet you're an Edwyn Collins fan.

Since I lasted posted on this fred in early may, I've worked at:
Ghost, The War On Drugs, Armin Van Buren, Craig David, Louis Tomlinson, Dream Theater, Kaiser Chiefs (National Lottery shows), Glamstar (I actually bought a ticket to see these), Ateez (a K-pop boyband), Arjit Singh, Bill Bailey, Gary Numan, Anne-Marie, The Duallers, Whitesnake/Foreigner & Europe, Andre Rieu (X3), Russell Peters, Years & Years, Thunder, Ashanti, 2 Cellos (X2), Mark Anthony (a Latino/salsa singer), and last night the first of 8 gigs for Queen + Adam Lambert.

Still to come until the end of July, I've got 7 more Queen & Adam Lambert, The Capital Radio Summertime Ball, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, The Boyzz (yet another K-Pop boyband), Green Day/Fall Out Boy/Weezer, 21 Pilots, Juben Natayal, Ed Sheeran (X2), Guns N Roses, a 2 day K-pop mini fest, Haim, The Libertines and 2 Lady Gaga.

I hope to score tickets to see a band called Voice Of Baceprot at a small venue in Tufnell Park in late July. They're a young metal band comprises of 3 Muslim girls from a very conservative town in Indonesia. They play in full hijab and make a splendid noise.

Can you actually enjoy these, Bromley, when you are working? I suppose it is similar to stewarding a football game, when you are there, but can't really get too involved?

The Eagles at Anfield on June 20th.

The last time I stood on the KOP was 8th April 1968 for the FA cup 6th Round Replay which ended one each. We beat them at Maine Road ten days later.   Both were fantastic games with crowds of 55000 or thereabouts.

There were 53,000 in the Hawthorns for the first game which ended 0-0.

Some of them I don't get to see all the show, as I run The Foyer at Wembley Arena. I manage to pop in to see a few minutes once everyone's in. The one's I work at The O2, I'm able to see pretty much all the show, but I do have to be ready to jump into action if needed. Case in point: I was working at The O2 last night for Queen + Adam Lambert. I was enjoying the show as Queen have been a long time favourite of mine, but towards the end of the show, a lady was feeling faint as it was very warm in the auditorium, so I had to call a medical team and make sure she was comfortable until they arrived.

This was my view of the stage last night, just after 'doors'. I worked there all night.
