Done 3 runs since Sunday. Hard work after a month off. Thinking of knocking a very slow long plod out later this week to see if that sorts my heart rate out. Dying after about 6km at a slow pace at the moment. Quite frustrating.

Treated myself to a fancy pair of new trainers today, last pair have holes in the sides so I've definitely had value for money out of them. Hoping I'll feel the difference on longer runs particularly.

What have you gone for Midge?

Covid plus a few weeks break for a holiday have taken all the momentum away from my running recently. I've got about six weeks to find some consistency before my autumn marathon training starts in earnest.

Calf has been sore for a couple of weeks but went with a bang on Friday so that's me out for a while!  Sad

With Beijing basically back in lockdown (everything's more or less closed except supermarkets) I'm trying to get out every day for my mental health more than anything. After two weeks finally got my heart rate down to something more reasonable this morning. Just hope nobody tests positive in my apartment block or I'll be running around the living room coffee table Dodgy

9 days of Noravirus, and 4 days onsite for work have ruined all my good training. Need to try and get a 10k in at some point this week, take it nice and slow but just need to get back out there.

Hopefully your lockdown isn't too long pal, being out everyday is probably the best thing you can do.

Done something to my knee, no running for last three weeks. Longest break in at least 10 years ☹️
