They play Bristol City at home on Tuesday night.  A win and they are 5th above Villa.  A loss and they are 8th after 5 successive defeats and I doubt he would survive that.

Yep we need a Bristol win as that will also take them above the fishy fuckers and they would still have a game in hand on them too.

If Derby win their game in hand villa will be out of the play offs again.  Big Grin

Need the Vile out of the Play-offs so badly, or it's nailed on they'll beat us via terrible refereeing.

Bristol city still to go to villa so we need them to go on a run like they did in jan / feb although that will include beating , but just about live with that if the bigger picture sees vile dropping put of a play off spot .

Grealish appears to be key for Villa. Heard a stat the other day that thy have won 69% of the games he has played in and only 19% of the games where he has been absent.

Think momentum is with Villa now and I am not sure what will stop them from reaching the play offs.

I went to Villa Park yesterday as a favour to a disabled fan whose carer couldn’t attend. The score line flatters Blackburn they were appalling in the first half and a 3-1 score line at half time would have reflected Villa’s dominance. Undoubtedly they are playing well but their confidence / self belief is wafer thin, evidence that f this is when Blackburn scored they became so jittery it was untrue. They are one bad defeat away / injury to a key player from another poor run.

There best players by a huge margin are Mings, Grealish and Abraham but the latter is far from the finished article. Their biggest strength is getting the ball wide and putting crosses into the box. Stop that threat and don’t allow Grwalish to play between the lines and they have very little else tactically to beat teams.

Their fans are deluded feckwits to say the least, if they get us in the Play-Offs they’ll easily beat us apparently, Grealish, Mings and Abraham should all be in the England team and they win the play-offs no problem because everyone fears them.

Nice to be reminded that they have so many arrogant numpties for fans every once in awhile.

Mings appears to have made them more solid at the back

Currently 0-1 down at home to Bristol City.

5 defeats in a row and dropping fast.

Bristol City above Villa in to 5th.
