Forbidden West is definitely more of the same from HZD, so if you like that you'll be happy. Graphics (PS5) wise I'm not that blown away, a lot of the scenery looks separate from each other, and some of the assets look lower quality than others, so are noticeable. It's pretty for sure and the animations are bang on, but I'm not seeing the massive leap that I was expecting from the hype train. Am only just at the first real town after the opener / tutorial bits though, so not in the lushness that was shown off in trailers etc...


Conversely, I'm very impressed with Cyberpunk PS5 version, graphically it's not that far off the hype beforehand. It sure does look pretty. After only playing it before on a very dated graphics card it feels smooth and like it will be quite special. However I have already experienced one game ending crash in less than a couple of hours play, so maybe they've not fixed it quite yet? (could be a one off I know, but crashes are so rare on PS5 that it's noticeable).

Installed it last night Mass, I'll try to have a look over the weekend, seen a few youtube vids and looks like it plays and looks good, I completed on a decent spec gaming laptop so visuals may not be quite as good for me but looking forward to throwing myself back in at some point

The first car still handles and moves like a flippin' go kart on acid though... PS5 seem to have censored the schlong settings, they did that in Conan as well... nipples are still on view though LOL I never played it thoroughly before, but apparently one of the love interests will now text you nudes or something... It's interesting what some dev teams put their resources into!

Just got out the sewers on FF7 and realised I've missed the elemental materia and can only get another in a later chapter? Is it going to fuck me over? I know I missed a poison materia in the sewer but I've got another one of those so not too bothered.

You can certainly finish without it, but it's a good material to have.

This is the most games I've ever bought in such a short period, just let myself be talked into buying Total Warhammer 3 on the PC, trouble is with my nowadays potato graphics card it won't do it justice! The sooner graphics cards come back in stock and at sensible prices the better!

You can certainly finish without it, but it's a good material to have.

Cheers, am at the start of chapter 14 where you can get the second one so will make sure I don’t miss it. Think Leviathon summon battle is going to be impossible without it, can’t build stagger up/do any decent damage on it without it.

Got to say that Cuzer was spot on, Cyberpunk (played on a machine that can run it properly) is a top quality game. Was going to say it distracted me enough today so that I missed the first half v Luton, I probably should have kept playing. Still getting a decent amount of crashes though.
