Found myself pre-ordering Forbidden West and Elden Ring last night (Base.com seem to have the best prices for the PS5 versions)... thing is I wasn't massively sold on Horzion Zero Dawn, and think Elden Ring is a bit like Demon's Souls, but don't really know... That's marketing and hype getting a sale there!

So I started FF7 remake, and I literally cannot stop playing it. Not been so engrossed in a game since TLOU. Halfway through the second reactor mission, have hammered all the side quest stuff as well trying to grind my levels up wherever I can.

Yeah I loved it. Manages to be both a remake that feels just like the original and it’s own thing at the same time.

Spot on. Just trying to work out if a lot of the old material tricks work once I’m out of Midgar, like selling an all material that spawns after maxing the xp for about 10000000000 Gil?

One week till Horizon: Forbidden West, which I’m very much looking forward to.

Need to finish Ratchet and Clank before then, which is ok if not rather derivative.

I'm a FF7 nut as I said, got a tattoo of Cloud and Sephiroth across my chest, and got another FF7 tattoo planned, got a lot of merch, purchased the original in various formats. I absolutely loved the Remake, completed it several times now. Superb game, part 2 being announced this year.

Tempted to cancel my preorder. It’s £40-45 across the board now and with Horizon out next week I probably won’t get round to playing for a while.

Read somewhere if you're getting forbidden west buy the ps4 version which is a tenner cheaper and you get a free upgrade if you put it in your ps5.

Been playing planet coaster all month. Great. Rollercoaster Tycoon on roids.
