True, but look at the rate of increase of testing. You test more, you will find more. The ZOE app which has been consistently accurate, is reporting an R rate of just above 1.
1319811 tests yesterday 5.96% positive rate
1635922 tests today 5.4% positive rate
Does this mean that it's already on the wane
(That's a joke BTW)
How often do people log these LFTs when they are negative? I did one Tuesday and as soon as I saw it was fine it went in the bin.
Don't think I've logged a single one other than the one I need to get into the cricket in the summer.

Same here Fido, I think I've registered 1 since we've had them.

Please report the negative tests too, without them the data is wrong, and will look worse.

Had our covid update at work. We're actually tracking slightly better than the original model predicted, however Omicron changes everything, it may swing to far worse in two weeks.
It's a difficult time, and I can't say for sure what the answer is.

It's got to be a nightmare to predict this one Birdy so I don't envy the hospitals. I've noticed a lot more people that I know who have had it over the last few weeks, my SIL (vaccinated), my niece (unvaccinated), my son (vaccinated), a couple of my daughters mates (vaccinated) and they appear to be the younger group but having milder symptoms.

Looking at the overall figures for England the numbers in hospital have fallen by 84, but looking at London alone the numbers have gone up by 74. Week on week increase in London of numbers in hospital is now nearly 30%.

Could be linked to poor vaccination rates across London?

That could well be Ted, not looked at it before but less than 70% uptake of the 1st dose and only just over 60% of 2 doses in London. Somebody will be on to say that means nothing as the vaccines aren't actually vaccines and do fuck all anyway though.
