It’s legitimate to highlight the areas in which they are short and need to develop. I for one agree that Field’s best position long term looks like the Barry role he played at Brighton and playing them together on Saturday didnt offer enough. 

They are all decent prospects, but not the finished article yet and while we have high hopes, there are no guarantees they’ll get there. 

For example, Leko at Brighton offered a threat second half, but with very questionable decision making. However, in the first half he lost the ball on each of the first eight times he received it and looked out of his dephth, well behind Field and Harper.

I think young Sam will develop into one those players that do a unspectacular but solid job that every good team needs.

How can they develop if they aren’t played ,I think the more they play the better they will get

They can develop on loan, but if not then you must integrate them slowly
