There is still plenty of original stuff coming, it’s just taking a little longer due to Covid.

Sony announced 18 games yesterday…

4 were remakes/remasters of existing games.
5 were sequels
9 were brand new IPs

Covid-19.

That's understandable. I am looking forward to the new Horizon game, I loved the first one.

I'm just frustrated having splashed out on a PS5 upon release almost a year later I don't feel like I have a true PS5 game, other than the Miles Morales Spider-Man game, which is basically DLC content!

Unless I'm missing a glaringly obvious game?

No it’s a fair observation, it’s definitely felt that they could/should have waited 6-12 months before releasing the next gen consoles. For me we’ll truly be seeing the start of the next gen in 2022.

That said Deathloop is out on Tuesday which I’m excited for.

I got mine in Feb and I’ve barely used it so far, as you say just PS4 games ‘glossed up’

Be interesting to see what sort of reviews Deathloop gets

I’ve spent much more time with my Series X over the last 10 months or so than I have my PS5.

When I bought both I figured the PS5 would be my main console and I’d mop up the MS exclusives via Gamepass. The opposite has happened, have spent most of my time on the SX enjoying the hundreds of games on GP.

No single player campaign. Not interested.

Exactly the same as me. I've bought the PS5 outright, and paying £28 per month for the Series X.

Although, I've used the PS5 more recently to play Read Dead 2, a PS4 game!

Football Manager is coming to Gamepass in November.

Good job I don’t have a social life anymore.

Returnal is well worth a go and shows off the PS5 well.

Most games for the first 2 years of any generation tend to be prettied up versions of previous games.

I've played my PS5 far more than I played my PS4, probably to do with the 20+ games free in the collection, then I signed up for PS Now on accident and then got an EA Pass for £20 a year... PS Now + EA Pass + PS+ all or less than a years Gamepass.
