I’ve watched a play through of it, really didn’t think it was that bad at all. As a puzzle I thought the happy birthday from RE7 was better. Overall the game looks incredible though. Nice ending as well, won’t spoil it for anyone.

When you’re playing yourself the whole section is creepy as fuck.

I loved RE 7 (hated it at first then got into it), heard that they removed the scares from Village so am somewhat pleased / amazed to be reading this on 'ere.

Finished Village last night, really enjoyed it. Got the balance of action and scares right for me (although there was a late section with another character that was basically COD:Werewolves). It’s pretty close to a straight reimagining of RE4.

Now to do one of my favourite things in gaming - play through again with the infinite rocket launcher and blow the living shit out of anything that even looks at me funny.

Yeah you start again with all your weapons from the end of the game. Plus if you complete certain challenges you get currency which you can spend on even more powerful weapons with infinite ammo. It’s pretty cathartic to play through a scary game, then do it again when you ridiculous firepower. Anything that challenged you before you can just swat away.

Gonna (literally) blast through it all again with the rocket launcher later...

Been playing, and loving, a lot of Hades since it came to Gamepass last week.

Can see why it won all the GOTY awards last year.

Tried that Humankind and Old World... neither are as good as Civ 6.

Been working my way through Uncharted 4 (yes I know...) which I've had since I got my PS4, but wanted to play them in order so held back on this. So far I'd say it's the most enjoyable out of the 4 though have still got stuck in the graphics several times which has fucked me over which is annoying. Hoping to finish it by Xmas!
