That rumour can 100% fuck off… barrel well and truly scraped.

High wages, 30+, barely scored in 3 years. Sounds about right.

5 in 30 in the Chump last season. I’d rather have Hal back.

Yup.

Hal isn’t on the best part of £70k a week either… covering his whole wage would be around £3m… there is far better value out there, and I guarantee I could find a player that would give us a better return on that £3m and score more than Gray would given an hour with access to scouting data…

You're on about HRK aren't you, the access to data part was just a cover!

I mean HRK would… but I’m sure we could even do better than him Big Grin

Always off to the PL that fella.  We're shopping in the Strikers budget aisle next door.  Loans, potential with risk and players who've been around a bit and not quite made it.

Yep missed the boat on Armstrong. My Cov mate took me to see them, when Mogga was manager, against Barnsley a few years back and Armstrong bagged a hat trick and looked brilliant when on loan from Toon. I've been banging on about him ever since then.

Mogga then took him to Blackburn. That's when we should have been in for him. Toon had a 40% sell on clause so they've done alright out of it.

I have a feeling that there's a couple of loan strikers that we're looking at, but may have to wait until the end of the window.

IMO if Liam Delap comes in we should still be looking at someone else more experienced

+1 would be foolish pinning our hopes on someone who’s never played above under 23 level.

Elsewhere, Ramsdale to Arsenal off. Where does this leave Sam?
