Agreed.
Went to ground without getting the ball yesterday which led to their equaliser.
Certainly been overtaken by Harper now. Bloody hell to blame him for that goal.
Holgate too far central, Dawson forced Asombalonga onto his strongest foot and Johnstone lets the ball go straight through him. But no lets blame Sam Field. Sorry but that is just nonsense.
By no means all his fault, as you rightly say others were culpable too, but certainly contributed.

Three errors after he lost a 50/50. If you want to blame him go back four phases for every goal we concede. Ridiculous.

Did you read what I said or are you purposely still answering a post further up ?
Not all his fault but certainly contributed.
There, try reading it again,

Yes I did read it. Not at fault at all you cannot go back four phases to apportion blame on a goal conceded otherwise you ending blaming a striker for a shot.

But you make it sound like it happened ages before the goal and didn’t contribute to it. It did.
Other players made mistakes too but I personally think once Field has gone to ground and not won the ball, leaving their player to pick a pass, we are in trouble.
That’s not to say other players couldn’t have done better, they could

In that case we are in trouble every time we misplace a pass or mistime a tackle. Field is totally blameless for that goal. Go watch Leicester and Man U on TV and make a note every time someone loses a tackle in midfield and see if it leads to a goal.

Not completely convinced by field, and definitely not by Leko. Leko is an athlete not a footballer.

I don't understand the culture of spacegoatery that pervades this bored. Find a promising young local player and concentrate on knocking him down. Fantastic support. Well said

By the end of the season everyone will have written Harper off to. Our fans don't accept development, just want it all now. Then moan we don't produce young players, baffles me.
