Loved that shirt. Ive got a few home shirts from the 80's including the 88/89 home shirt.

My old man says my 82 away shirt (yellow with horizontal thin blue stipe) is in his loft although I'm pretty sure my Mum threw it out years ago!!  Angry

I bought one of them from a closing down Brixton sports shop in 2008 - still in the original wrapper thingy. They found a load of old stuff in boxes when in process of vacating the premises.

Nice. Worth @ £150/£200 that is! How much did you pay?

About £50 from memory. They were asking something like £75 which even then was mad.

Every three years or so I'll have a quick look at it!

Yes i'd love to see more pics of that. Strange choice of design.

It's the only pic I can find....

Unreal. Miserable 0-2 midweek away defeat under Talbot.

I went to the home game - also a defeat. Plymouth wore their home kit at ours!

That 86/87 number was decent. The home shirt poor that year. Real lower division look about it and sponsor looked like it was sellotaped on

I remember seeing Garth Crooks beat 4 men and then round the keeper only to miss the empty net away at Pompey in that red kit. Fuggin cart horse!  Big Grin

Pretty sure that red shirt was a small chequered number.

Think we lost that day at all. Big bonus marks for scorers that day

I was behind someone going into the BRE with one of those on once. A copper joked "No QPR in here, mate!" and got a round of fuggs for his troubles. Thought it was quite amusing, to be fair.
Be worth a fair penny now , sure it was never issued for sale

That's an easy one Manc as I still have the programme! Vince Hilaire bagged both for Pompey. He tore us a new one that day. Good player. Crooks scored for us and actually had a decent game that miss aside.

Was speaking to a fella earlier who reckons a small amount of those 3rd shirts were sold from the club shop after the Plymouth game , long sleeve only.
Love to own one , love to even see some different pictures lol

Good digging that. Graham Roberts with the dodgy backpass? We look weird in that garb.
