Yikes! This has gone tits up spectacularly.

I’m enjoying the game but I am tempted to take the refund and re-buy in a few months once the bugs have been sorted and the next-gen updates are out. This will absolutely tank the game’s retail price too...

May as well take the refund. I have a rule of thumb these days to just not buy the super overhyped games. The last like this, Anthem, was absolutely woeful on launch too.

And remember No Man's Sky? It's started to become a very worrying trend.

Never played NMS, but apparently it’s decent days because they spent two years patching it after release.

Developers these days seem to think they can glorified beta versions of games knowing they can cash on whilst fixing out the bugs.

Although ironically if I do get the refund I’ll probably just spend it pre-ordering another game I fancy... Deathloop.

Exactly.

I see that Playstation have now removed Cyberpunk from their store!!

My nephew is playing it on Xbox One, and is enjoying it. Apparently he accidentally ended up having gay sex with a prostitute, and it was so graphic his (real) girlfriend asked him to make it stop!PC patch 1.04 has improved things a lot for lower end graphics cards.

Because of the massive vverhyping of the game through their good marketing and the gaming community. My point wasn't around bugs (Anthem wasn't buggy either), but the fact that as Duffers says, gaming companies release half baked games, hype them up and cash in.

I have also heard that NMS is good now. But the launch period was woeful.

How did all those trying to acquire next gen boxes get on??

Also for those that have it, how are you doing on Demon's Souls? I bit the bullet and used an old Curry's voucher that I forgot I had to get it, killed 3 bosses (spider thing first time)... Getting a bow was the best decision i made!

Got the Witcher 3 as my last proper game for ps4 before I get the ps5. Seems utterly massive so if any of you have any advice be well received. Also got Mario all stars 3d which is in my switch in case there's a covid outbreak on my holiday in South China and I'm quarantined for two weeks before going back to work!

Managed to get both a PS5 and Series X in the end, so I’m set for the next few years (at least until the next Nintendo console). Although I’m having an issue with the X in that it won’t recognise that my telly has 4k. Have tried both HDMI 2.0 and 2.1 and it still won’t recognise it, best resolution it’ll give is 1440p. The PS5 doesn’t seem to have this issue and the Series S I had recognised 4k. It’s still playable but wanna get it resolved...

I’ve got Demon Souls but not started it yet. Enjoyed Miles Morales and Astro’s Playroom though. Currently working through Cyberpunk on the PS5 and just finished my first season on FIFA with the Brom over on the Xbox.

Got Demon’s Souls, AC:Valhalla and Watch Dogs next on the slate. Plus all the stuff I’ve downloaded from Gamepass.

Bought myself AC Valhalla instead of Cyberpunk. Really enjoying it, and I've never been a big fan of the AC series.

Picked up Alien Isolation free on Epic games store this week, seems decent enough so far. LOU2 is £25 on amazon atm but gonna wait to see what Santa brings first.

Epic have been giving away a free game every day this week, picked up Tropico 5 from there yesterday.

Alien’s on Gamepass. I’ve added it to my massive list of games I need to get round to playing.
