UK Covid death toll

As do I. Thanks for your efforts. The problem with picking up figures from the media (in general) is the way they change the methods all the time. Just when you follow one they spring forth another and for a while you are comparing apples with pears.

In England 339 deaths under the age of 60 with no pre existing health conditions attributed to Covid.

Some reports stating, but ive not second sourced yet suggest 80% of hospital admissions have obesity.

Keep treating a single disease at the cost of all others.

Nobody want's anyone to die - stop being a prick. But simply no reason to lock those healthy under 60s up. They can support the more vulnerable in many other ways including the necessary health measures.

Billy where do you get you figures? ONS data says there are 3,765 cases for people under 60 where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate. There are also 6,974 excess deaths for those under 65 compared with 2019 (sorry because of the way data was measured in 2019 I can't get a figure for under 60s)

So those 2,475 that have pre-existing conditions is ok?

And there seems to be an ignorance of one big issue here - let's say that the under 65s are ok to carry on regardless (because I agree by the way that they are at very low risk of getting and dying from this), what do we do with the 12M over 65s?
