Snobs (the old one), Paradise Circus

Circo, old hip hop bar on the Smallbrook Queensway where Beetham Tower now is.

The Duck on the Hagley Rd which was knocked down in the 90s and rebuilt into some pseudo hotel.

I don't think any pubs I actually like have closed down. Whilst the stats show lots of pubs closing I actually think there are more decent places around than ever before (this is obviously entirely anecdotal from infrequent visits back home). It just seems to be the doss holes that are shutting. Quality not quantity is fine by me.

Probably the Old Stag's Head on Penn Common.

Not because it was any good, in fact it was crap after a stream of successive retards took it on and consistently failed. More because it was a Plan B if the nearby Barley Mow was packed full of tourists.
