WBA season stats 2020/21
Sawyers: Highest percentage of successful passes in the Championship (90%)

What's interesting is that 5 of the top 7 were Fulham players!

Pereira also was the most fouled player, and had the highest number of "Key Passes" (which is basically defined as an "assist" that results in an unsuccessful shot rather than a goal).

Top scorers at home in the league (second overall).,

Second highest number of shots behind Leeds

Not surprising. All they do is pass sideways

Yup.

Would imagine those 5 players involved a couple CHs, a fullback and a couple CHs....

400 passes a game easily, with maybe 20 being in the opposition's box.

Some very good stats. People have short memories and our patchy performances since Feb shouldn't take too much away from some times early season when we looked like world beaters.

Ream, Arter, Cairney, Johansen, Reed

Mitrovic's stats are interesting too. Most attacking headers, top scorer, second highest number of shots, most unsuccessful touches. Sounds like the midfield and striker are playing for two separate teams.

They really do play a lot of one dimensional midfielders...

Ream to Cairney, back to Ream, Ream to Arter, to Reed, back to Ream... then launch it at Mitrovic!

Great stats in there Dumbo

Only 7 defeats. Got to be a modern day record for us?

Indeed. Those bloody draws though. 17!!

True.

Fulham and Brentford won more games than us this season.

Are 17 draws a record for a team promoted or auto promoted to the PL?

Sunderland in 1995/96 won the league with 17 draws, Leicester went up in the play offs in 1993 with 17 draws also.

Since then Stoke went up automatically with 16, so it's the joint highest.
