24 hours in and I don’t think I’ve actually died once so far. Got my healing materia levelled right up so can just grind through most big fights.
I'm far too aggressive so die at times.
Failed Experiment fight really caught me off guard, but once you known the trick to that fight it gets easier.
Took me ages because Elemental Lightening materia on Barrett’s gun and the fucking thing was immune to lightning! Had to keep chipping away until I could use a summon.
30 hours in now Birdy... Just finished Chapter 14 and have gone over the wall. Have also completed all the side quests and am stocked up to the eyeballs in materia.
I am having a ridiculous amount of fun with this game.

I must say, it's probably one of the most beautiful graphics game I've played. Really intrigued by the story choices concept, never played one before, love reviewing the flowchart/map of choices and seeing what the rest of the world/other players chose.
Unlucky, it was free on ps+ a couple of months back. Totally loved Detroit. Had finished Heavy Rain years ago, also brilliant story telling.

Well FFVII Remake is complete, took over 40 hours according to the in game clock but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Had absolutely no fucking idea whatsoever what was actually happening in the final chapter mind...

I have a theory on that.
The name remake has a double meaning, this is as much a sequel as it is a remake. Hence Aerith knows things about the future, and Sephiroth makes Cloud see bits of the future.

Spent the last 2 days glued to the re-released World of Warcraft classic. A free subscription for everyone would've been a guarantee of lockdown!

Yeah I read a few theories around multiverses/alternate timelines. God knows when we’ll see the next one. Also, when Part 2 comes out are we going to have to start from scratch in terms of characters? I put a lot of work into them...
All done now though, I see Streets of Rage 4 is available on Gamepass which will be a nice palate cleanser after a heavy meal of a game. Currently downloading The Last of Us to run through ahead of the sequel coming out next month...

When I’m shopping in a supermarket aisle and someone approaches from the opposite direction and I have to turn round and get out of the way as fast as I can, it reminds me of Pac-Man

I upgraded the GPU to a 1070 last year and have had no issues with anything but I'm expecting something to go bang at some point!
Mobo - MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
CPU - AMD RYzen 5 3600
RAM -16GB of 3200mhz from corsair
GPU - ummed and aahed as prices are insane right now. Was gonna go for a 2nd hand RX 390 but got a b-grade (damaged box, return etc) Vega 64 for £250 which I thought was a good deal.
Fancy XCOM 2 as I completed the previous one but I remember it being immenseley frustrating and frequently missing 90% chance shots.
Only played the first Assassin's Creed as they just seem to be stretching the story way beyond making any sense and just releasing the same game set in different locations.
If you like XCom, give Phoenix Point a bash, much improved since its release. Interesting semi-self-aim thing in there too to minimise silly short ranged missed shots etc... they claim each projectile is physically modeled too...
XCom 2 though is still the best, well since Laser Squad!
Also, am loving the Ryzen CPUs, bang for the pound is stunning. I just wish gfx cards were more affordable, I refuse to go 2060 for over £300, and the 2070's are still around £400... my old 970 is still running everything at a decent level.
Loved laser squad !
