Last Friday; The Editors.

To come: Lewis Capaldi (X 2), Morrissey, Ateez (yet another K-Pop boyband), Shreya Ghoshal (an Indian opera singer), The Who, Simple Minds, Parkway Drive, Andre Rieu (X 2) and Bon Iver. Also throw in 4 days of Disney On Ice with 2 or 3 shows a day.

Were you at Wembley to watch the Seals crying yesterday?

Very underrated are Supergrass imo. Made 5 great albums which easily surpass what their Blur and Oasis contemporaries produced imho

Road to Rouen was a bit ropey, IMO.

Have a listen to the last track, Fin, a thing of beauty

Going to watch The Vapors and From The Jam next Saturday @ The Assembly Rooms in Leamington.  This is the 40th anniversary tour of The Jam’s Setting Sons tour in which the vapors supported.  I can’t believe it’s been 40 years since I saw them both at Birmingham Bingley Hall on that tour.

After that gig I bought both the vapors albums and singles (as well as the jam’s) and saw the vapors a further 2 times before they split and The Jam a further 4 times before they split: I also saw the vapors again 18 months ago in Brum and From the Jam a couple of times. It will be great to go to a concert and know all the songs of both the support and the main act (unless they say “here is a new song”).

Can’t wait.

I have inclings I'll be treated to George for an early B-Day pressie.

If Coronavirus fucks this up. I'll be mightily fucked off.
