Hegazi clearly fed up with the bench. He’s been understandably rusty since he’s returned and hard to see how he can displace any of the current 2 as we are top and in such a strong position. However, it’s a long season and with injuries and suspensions he’d have got back in and given something to think about. Now though it looks like curtains for him.
In all squads there will be issues- this is a pity, but sure Slav will sort it without any detrimental effects to the club.
Biggest winner is O’Shea.

I think it’s a real risk with O Shea, Bartley and Semi being our only center backs,even if Ferguson and Furlong can play there

If Hegazi does go, and I hope he doesn’t then we will certainly need to replace him IMO

I was saying in other threads Bilic has some big decisions to make, I'm sure he won't shy away from them. Great to see O'Shea stepping in and playing a part. Brunt & Barry still available and with a couple of solid experienced professionals ready to be called upon we're still in good shape. And we are still top of the shop.
