I think I might buy The Outer Worlds. Supposed to be similar to the Fallout games which i enjoy.

I built my last gaming PC in 2012 and its showing it's age now. Starting to get the itch for a new one for Divinity Original Sin 2 and The Outer Worlds.

Spaffed myself at the announcement of Baldur's Gate 3 as well. BG2 remains the best game ever

I need a new GFX card, my 970 is creaking... Metro Exodus at 1440p is killing it, it's the first game I've had to drop down to medium just to get it smooth... Been looking at the RTX 2070 Supers, but they're damn expensive...

I tried the re-release of the BG games (as I love them when they originally came out) have to say some memories are better than the reality!

I’m also looking forward to finding out what the fuck Death Stranding is all about. Looks utterly barking.

Something about a ladder and a baby... Hopefully there is a good game lurking beneath it's utterly crazy exterior!

It’ll either be great or utterly bomb and be able to pick up for a tenner by Jan.

Either way I’m waiting for the reviews for committing.

What did you think of pillars of eternity?

Disappointed actually. Didn't really get the story and the combat felt pretty disjointed. Not immersive at all. Divinity was far better. Big fan of dragon age/witcher series as well

I enjoyed the writing in pillars . But I still see stopped playing. I agree the combat was not as good as recalled from BG . I missed the DD spells .

Amd 5700 xt is the answer still not cheap at 400 quid but handles 1440p in its stride.
