No offence mate but I think I’ve watched enough youth team football to know Bellingham and Rogers will (providing they continue to develop and stay away from major injuries) receive full England honours

No offence mate but you also said the same thing about Kane Wilson.

And I stand by what I’ve said about Kane Wilson. He’s still only 19 and played 30-40 games at League 2/1 level

Didn't make the Tranmere squad today.

He’s injured.

Anyone who finishes above them will get promoted. Still not sure what our best team is right now, not convinced by Austin at the moment. Our response to going a goal down is great and shows the resilience of the team to keep picking up points after being in losing positions.

Watching us you get the feeling there's a really good team who could challenge but it's not quite clicking yet. I think it will soon.

Austin has missed a number of sitters for us. I'm sure that's just lack of match fitness, but it's not great, all the same.

Imagine the stick Zahore would have got if he missed some of the chances Austin has missed.

He's missed decent chances but which of the ones yesterday was a "sitter"? I can think of at least twice this season where Zohore has missed chances which were difficult not to score

You make wild and hyperbolic claims about every single young player that comes through the system. You’ll forgive me for no longer taking. Your views seriously.

Agree.

Zohore and Austin have both missed a sitter or two, but none of CA’s misses yesterday were sitters.

Furlong missed our best chance  of the game and squandered our other best one when he should have passed just before half time instead of shooting.

Austin just doesn’t look at the races yet and needs a goal, but Zohore does more for me.

Maybe because unlike you I’ve watched them at youth levels? Maybe I’m too positive? I’d rather that than sheer negativity. Genuinely believe we will have a squad made up of 50% Academy graduates within 3 years.

Spending a worrying amount of time looking at teenage boys doesn’t mean you know anything. Likewise, claiming every kid in the system is going to be a star makes people tend to stop listening after a while.

James Vaughan, Sonny Pike, Jose Baxter, Freddy Adu, that kid from Tranmere who went to Bayern... History is full of kids who show great promise as teenagers but never amount to anything. The likes of Rogers could go on big things, but it’s far too early to tell.

IMO some great players flourish in later years. Early predictions are just guesses or wishful thinking. Sawyers is a perfect example. Enzo looked a potential world class player, but never made an appearance for his country. Ian Wright of Arsenal was another late developer, signed for Palace at 22 I'm sure others can offer lots of others.
More super kids fall by the wayside then actually make it in the real world IMO.
SS your optimism is worthy, but sadly you need a wake up call.

I don’t care what you say Duffers we’ve got a fantastic amount of talent coming through. Time will tell how good they become? No offence but I’ll trust my eyes and judgement having watched football for over 25 years.
