How did Willock play?

Is he close to the first team? The comment above regarding a deal in place with Benfica could have legs. Would be weird to make a loan signing for the reserve team, although we are early in to the season tbf.

He was OK without looking exceptional and I certainly wouldn't be calling for him to replace any of those ahead of him in the first team queue. 

Dan Meredith, Jack Fitzwater and Finn Azaz were pick of the bunch for me tonight. Azaz scored a beauty as well.

Fitzwater should be going out on loan. Too good for Under 23s. Willock looked good. This is why it's a shame we're out of the League Cup, as that would be an ideal opportunity to give him a more challenging run out.

Take a look at his first touch and calm finish for one of his goals. Technically he looks very accomplished, the forty yard pass out of defence was pretty good as well.
