Lined a few up this week. Paul Weller at Ludlow Castle. Pete Williams (again!) in Tamworth and I'm hoping a mate has got me tickets for the Brum Town Hall gig for Cowboy Junkies.

Only managed to see them once, at a festival around 2000. They finished with captain, which I’m not sure they often played later on?

I was halfway through booking tickets for this one a few days ago when I realised that we're home to Millwall the following day so decided to hold off till the tv fixtures are confirmed for that weekend in case we're moved to the Friday night. Will definitely go otherwise. I thought the tracks off the new album sounded really good at the Wulfrun last year. They're one of those acts who I'd never consider amongst my favourite acts but seen them about 15 times over the last 25 years and they're always good value live.
