Fair play mon. Never been much of a fan but some mates bought a bunch of tickets and talked me into going. Have been listening them on repeat all week, some bangers in there but very repetitive!
Surprising how much of their catalogue has been used in sync for tv/games as instrumentals!

Last Dinner Party were fun, especially enjoyed the bit where they made a crowd in Wolverhampton go Boing Boing

I only saw The Hives once round the time that Hate To Say I Told You So had really broken them through. I'd bought a ticket to see at Manchester Student Union (may have been the tiny Hop and Grape on the top floor) and it was upgraded to the main Academy and I'm not sure I've ever been to a gig which felt more over-crowded. It was ridiculous. They were very entertaining and had great energy but not one I ever felt the need to see again. They had 3 or 4 really good early singles but there was a hell of a lot of filler as well.

They were excellent. The new album is decent, plenty of hits spread out across their albums. A fun time was had by all.

Picked up a half price ticket from Twickets for Inspiral Carpets at the Institute on Saturday.
