She wasn't addressing that point. She was addressing a very specific point. You can read it, it's there in black and white.

Like I say - you're having a go at her for something she didn't say, a point she didn't make.

The specific point she was making has to be seen in context. How many fit, healthy adults are not working or doing the bare minimum? How many are working but cannot make ends meet without benefits, how many claiming are full time carers who cannot work on top of their caring responsibilities, how many disabled people have to claim benefit because they aren’t capable of working?

To single out a tiny number of people relatively speaking as key part of her leadership speech gives the impression that ALL those on welfare are a significant part of the financial problems this country is in. That’s not true and it’s not fair on them. She’s playing to a very specific and mean spirited audience. Such as the poster on here who I won’t name who wanted to know the complete back story of a mothers life who was struggling to afford to pay for the electricity to keep her disabled son alive.

With a backer like Steve Baker, it’s not really that surprising that she’s gone down this route. What wonderful examples of Christian and Buddhist philosophies they respectively practice.

Only to you Dekka. Only to you.

You hear what you want to hear even when no-one has spoken the words. You must meet my wife.

Given the coverage it has received on mainstream media and social media I don’t think so.

Can you give me a figure what the financial benefits pardon the pun will be if she got her way are to the U.K? Figures not ideology.

Not only to him. At least he tries to be objective about his points, whereas you'll just spout whatever will show the Tories in the best light.

<falls off chair>

If Dekka is being objective about his points maybe his fuggin points should point to the fuggin point he's supposed to be quarrelling about.

What is this specific point?

His point is that Braverman's point is deliberately misleading

What? He's completely failed to address the point she made. Several times.

Instead he's invented a point she didn't make and criticised that. If that's the definition of objective then he found it in Roger's Profanosaurus.

No, I can't.

There's a straight answer for you. Your go.
