Good luck Sloth.

Want to do another half soon as I find I train so much better when I have an actual goal to aim for. Only problem is that all the main London ones are already sold out for 2026.

In doing Cambridge half in Feb Duffers. It’s very flat (as you’d imagine) and good PB potential. Fucking expensive though. I think it’s sold out. If you’re looking for one locally, St Albans might be worth checking out, though seem to think it has a few hills

Did the Stratford Olympic Park one in February, might end up doing that again.

Races are so fucking expensive now though! You'll do well to get one for less than 50 quid!

Not sure I can get myself half marathon fit in under two months.

My fitness always falls off a cliff during summer then I spent autumn and winter building it back up.

Fugg me, I only managed a couple of runs in August cos childcare, cold, too hot etc, but it feels like I'm starting again from scratch.

Thank you - mentally i think i will be ok - been dragged through the hedges as a teen during my Military basic training. Race strategy is  certainly my biggest unknown - im questioning if i should just go at my own pace or follow a pacer.
