Should be noted that he has done us a favour in terms of retiring rather than trying to rehabilitate over the next x amount of months which would have cost us. As it is his decision will free up wages

Certainly need a new CB now, even before anything happens with Heggem

Phillips, Heggem, Campbell and Taylor, and we have Furlong and Diakite as emergency - I'm not sure we're that desperate for a CB.

We simply HAVE to sign another central midfielder as the priority!

I agree.

The benchmark is a player of Yokuslu's ability, but with more athleticism and goals.

Yes please. We are ridiculously light in midfield.

Unless rabbits get pulled out of the hat very swiftly, it's been a very disappointing transfer window.

There are still 3 weeks to go, decent window so far. There will be more coming and going and I’m not ITK. Big Grin

Not sure I'd call it a disappointing one yet, especially as we all know most of the action happens in the last week.

So far we've signed two defenders and a striker and have managed to keep hold of our best assets. Hopefully we can add a midfielder or two and it won't look as bad.

Agree.

We have added a player who was outstanding in the Champ last year in Phillips, and we've signed Campbell who comes highly regarded from the US, and Heggebo from Norway who seems to have all the right attributes.

Whilst it's disappointing to lose Dike and Bany to injury, it's no different to last season.

Right now our first XI for tomorrow is stronger than the one we finished last season with, but our squad depth is very thin.

All the best and thanks for your loyal service Kyle.
When asked to do a good old fashion centre backs role, head it ,kick it, tackle he was good and a beast at times it was asking him to play out from the back stuff that exposed him. All in all a good servant to the club and i wish him well.

It's been a better window than I expected.
Given the state of our finances I was pleasantly surprised that we managed to sign anyone.
Current owners playing a blinder so far.

Overall made a positive impact, provided we played to within his limitations. Don't fanny about at the back being one his limitations!

As a supposed leader he probably got more stick for our playing demise that maybe his individual performances deserved at times, but pointing at others when you're at best complicit in the failure is never a good look.

Fair play to him for not uscking another year out the club. He should have a word with Dike, come Mid-September...
