Fulop?

I`m old, Graham Smith, Paul Barron and Bob Ward would certainly be in there.

And Fulop. His performance against Arsenal in Roy's last game in charge the worst I have ever seen by an Albion keeper

I think that's a little harsh, that was all down to alecan, the daft bastard didn't have to play him.
Fulham had the right idea, employed him for three years, but let him nowhere near the first team except for one league cup game  Big Grin

Barron definitely splits opinion in his 18 months or so in the team.  Didnt he win POTY in one those seasons?

I thought Barron was ok. Think he gets stick as he kept the popular Godden out of the side. A bit like Paul Whitehead who was ok but not popular as he kept Miller out.

As a single performance that was unquestionably the worst. However feel as he never had another chance we can’t properly compare him with other hapless keepers.

I felt Whitehead was pretty disappointing in his own right to be honest. Nothing to do with Miller from my perspective. Strange one as he didn't seem too bad before joining us.

Phil Whitehead also had the problem that he had a full on kick off with the BRE, 2 years prior to joining.

He came for crosses and his kicking was ok.  His shot stopping was not as good as Millers - although our defence was much worse under Smith than it was under RH
