Don't think I've ever heard of Tenzig.

Tenzing even, supposedly all natural ingredients… but actually taste remotely nice unlike energy drinks in general. Today I had mint and lime.

I did a run in the summer (ongoing laps). One of the guys I ran with is a scientist and his job is to develop new flavours for Tenzing, as well as other brands.

He had several cases with him for the breaks in between each lap. Got to try quite a few of them!

They are decent taste wise, I would never touch monster or red bull or anything like that personally.

Did 10k yesterday after having 1 and felt pretty good, ran another 10k today without one and ran it in an almost identical time so can't make that much difference!

Milk is the best recovery drink!

I have the Southampton 10k tomorrow starting and finishing at St Mary’s. Will be having a relaxing beer afterwards at Wembley for the England game. Think the run might be more entertaining

Ten and a half miles yesterday, feeling it today though!

Going to plateau for a few weeks now and take it a little easier so as not to lose too much fitness over the festive period.

Had a mental week so taking an enforced week off, hopefully get out this weekend if it's not chucking it down.

Really wanted to get to 10 before Christmas and did that last week then put another ten and a half on yesterday.

From this weekend onwards the festive seasons starts to get into full swing - got a parents' drinks thing, Christmas party, drinks with mates, my birthday and a couple of gigs in the next two weeks so running is going to take a back seat. Hopefully I won't do too much fitness damage.

I’m back running again consistently now after a few niggles. Happy and comfortable for 10km and running at least twice a week at the moment. I’m pretty sure I’ve got further in me but I’m not training for anything so haven’t seen the need. It’s hard during the winter months to get up and out sometimes but got to keep at it. Well done to all those still plodding along.

Bottled going out at the weekend as it literally rained for 3 days straight here. Been out today and ran 10k in a really decent time so happy with that. Just need to keep afloat whilst the weather is shitty and life gets busy so can get back up to 3 times a week next year.
