SS it's great to know we have youngsters with potential. I for one appreciate your insights into what could be our future.

Thanks. Appreciate it. The stick/abuse from Duffers is verging on an obsession.

We all like feedback on the behind the scene activities. Change "will" to "could" on posts, stops challenges to your onions.

1% of academy players go on to get paid as an adult player in football, let alone make a living from football.

Also a quick one on Bellingham. Stourbridge born. We tried signing him when he was younger however he’s a die hard Birmingham fan. Harrison and co wanted him. It’s quite strange how Birmingham have been able to retain the likes of Redmond, Gray Etc. Whereas we’ve always struggled. Are our youngsters more coveted? More talented? Or a combination of factors.

Perception because they came into the first team at a very young age. Both were only 19 when they left Birmingham.

FACT.

The % of footballers signed on academy contracts that go onto play full time, professional football is lower than 1%

By “retain” I meant sign pro terms and stay for 2-3 years
