I was upset in November when my old mom died suddenly. I don't get upset by words from people I don't even know. Healthy debate needs different opinions or it's just inane chit chat. It's a modern trait to try and stifle different opinions with exaggerated assumptions when hearing different thoughts on a subject. I'm guilty of it above in this thread but didn't single anyone out. I think he signed a contract to do a job then shat on us in probably the busiest spell of the season. Rat behaviour in my opinion. A football discussion board without different views is a fan club. Some of us are just curious as to how Carlos will get on. We liked the bloke. The timing of his leaving wasn't great, but thats not his fault. He couldn't turn down the opportunity (who would?), and he couldn't tell Valencia to wait a month.

Players and managers come and go. At least Carlos left us in the proper manner, and we're in a much better state than when he arrived. 

However, if you want to call him a rat thats your choice. Fair enough. If some of us want to keep up with how he's getting on, thats our choice. As you said earlier, people are allowed to think and act differently.

If that happens then the fault will lie with our owners, not Corberán. But, tbh, they do seem to have done their due diligence. Which doesn't guarantee success, but it does help.

Surely people don't really think he dropped us in the shit by taking this job? Possibly the only job he'd be considered for that would be worth taking over staying here?

Surely they don't think he should have said, yeah I want to go but I'll stay until New Year, missing time with his new squad and probably a match against Real Madrid.

He didn't drop us in the shit, we fucked him over by not giving him a new deal as planned in the summer.

Corberán leaving has been a result of the perfect storm. Him not feeling valued at Albion despite doing an outstanding job and his home town club, a club bigger than anyone outside the traditional English top 6, coming in for him.
