I went to the replay jeez it was hostile its a good job Kevin sheedy scored in the last minute or I would have feared getting home in one piece
Agreed would never wish us to lose a game but I was a bit relieved when he scored. The coppers with those sticks were just waiting to clatter any of us that night Drove to the replay. It was always going to be a fraught situation given their fan losing an eye at the first game ... away from the ground near the 3 Mile Oak pub.
Unfortunately parked on the opposite side to where we were ticketed. Ran a gauntlet of hate, abuse and being spat on. Agree there was relief when Sheedy scored ... though remember Gary Robson missing a sitter that would have given us the lead.
Couldn't get away from the place quick enough. Disgusting set of neanderthals.

Lived there for most of the 00s. The gap between what the lovely people they think they are and what they are actually like is colossal. It's a very small-minded, end of the line place packed with Danny Dyer wannabes with a massive gangster problem, which only occasionally gets more widely reported. I'd rather live in Wolverhampton than Liverpool.
Besides which, most Liverpool fans are middle class people from Surrey, so why they are playacting that they were living like Boys in the Blackstuff once upon a time? It's laughable.

Duffers, it's not a difficult concept. Every major match the scumbags are involved in, they turn up without tickets and try and force their way into the ground. It happened at Paris the other year, and apparently happened yesterday. They just do not learn, but that's OK because the cunts will find someone else to blame.

Is that not exactly the same as the "I got into a fight up there in the 70's so it's a shithole and the people are scum" crowd?
Happy to accept that some find Scousers annoying, but the constant need to bash them on here and the need to hark back to certain tragic events (phrases like 'never learn' are dripping in meaning) on a West Brom messageboard isn't really necessary.

If as a football fan, you use Hillsborough as a stick to beat Scousers with given everything that happened afterwards and the general attitude of the establishment at the time towards football fans, then you're beyond stupid.

Been to Anfield a few times in recent years (weirdly never seen Albion there) and these days you're more likely to see trouble in the departure lounge at John Lennon ahead of the 18.30 back to Dublin than anywhere else.
