Harper - Outstanding for 80min but then out on his legs
Field - Good first half, quiet second, stronger in ET
Tosin - Too casual at times

Thought tulloch made the most impact -  simply because he had some pace. Whilst pace counts for nothing without end product (leko?) we were so lacking in this dept last night when he came on it lifted our whole game. Field did ok Rogers out of his depth, Harper is the best of the bunch by a country mile.

Big Dave got the subs all wrong last night - in comparison to Houghton's use of his subs which were spot on imvho - Just showed the gulf in managerial experience, but Moore will hopefully learn from his mistakes.

Overall I think we saw the future of wba last night and its not looking at all bad. though jrod was anonymous first half and HRK put in a real shift in comparison and was unlucky with the shot that hit the bar.

The annoying thing from a fans' perspective will be that there was no tactical element to the subs last night in terms of that game itself, only with a view to the game at the weekend. Having no subs left with 20-odd minutes to play was ludicrous, whichever way you look at it.

I wouldn't say J-rod was anonymous, he had a couple of half chances and laid that ball off for HRK's shot that hit the post.

First half was tough for our forwards. Hughton knows how to get sides organised.

Don't agree with this. Field and Harper both looked like seasoned pros last night. Field does a lot more defensive work than Harper who is pretty non existent in that respect.

Two cracking players.

I thought Methol called it right. Field, growing in confidence, played some great balls.  All on the back of being concussed Saturday, elbowed first half then carrying a strain through extra time. This kid does the simple stuff well.
Harper, more box to box. Bags of energy and invention but he did run out of steam.
Tulloch showed enough to warrant a run and his pace is something we lack.
Rogers, not enough to judge him but he was in the right place for that one that he either misread or it dropped wrong. The fact DM selected him must mean he's on the right road.
The kids are alright!
