Unbeaten so far so good

Has to be good, so far. Because he’s not Mason, he’s not a throwback like Mowbray or Bruce, and not a championship-experienced gamble; a pool of whom very little other attainable standout characters really exists. And I like how he’s come across so far.
I think any manager coming in is always a gamble. Megson was, Ardiles was, in fact the only one in recent times I thought was certain to pay-off was Hodgson; Pulis to a lesser extent I suppose. But even the shit ones had my full-backing at the start, before the wheels came off of course. In fact I clearly recall getting dogs abuse from the lads I played football with the night we appointed Robson (and even he at least gave us the great escape). The AFI one took some living-down at my then-local as well, as did Pardwank. But as a fan you have to get behind them at the start. In any case, I have a better feeling about this than Mason, whom even he it has to be said enjoyed a decent-enough start; as did Val. So in conclusion, who fucking knows (and - like many other late Gen-X - I watched Neighbours after school near-enough throughout its heyday, so picking that was never an option).

I was keen last year before Mason, had my doubts after Mason but then promptly changed my mind and am going for Good (although that needs to clarification what that actually means in reality).
Although I’m of the mindset that it should always be… Don’t tell me, show me!

Good.
Was a bit worried, but feel pretty calm after his interviews and watching the behind the dressing room clip of him at Minnesota. I feel like he'll leave us in a better place than when he joined us.

Good
He talks extremely well, he's clear, concise, articulate and thoughtful. We'll see how his in game management etc is over the next few weeks. I expect it to be markedly improved from Mason and for him to be much more animated / involved on the side lines passing more in game instructions to the players. This group have had about 3/4 coaches in fairly quick succession so if he can't make it work i'd be more inclined to think the issues aren't at the coaching level. Looking forward to going to game again anyhow. See how long it lasts.

Absolutely not a clue, 3 things
1.Hes not Mason 2. He has no money to spend 3. Hes not related to Alf. Ive written this season off tbh. Be good to have a cup run and we need to buy a new keeper. UTFA Good luck Eric your going to need it!
