I think he has the technical ability to play in La Liga - the bottom 10 or so sides are not too dissimilar in terms of quality from the top 6 sides in the Championship so he has the ability to be a bit part player. The league will also suit his technical skills more so I'd expect him to hold his own - he won't be a key player for them, but given their financial constraints he'd make sense as a squad option on a free.
