I can never say enough just how good Corberan is, we were lucky to have him, and it's a shame we had to have him while facing so many issues, had we had him when we had parachute money and could build a good, competitive squad, we'd have got promoted.

He got the playoffs with only BTA as a striker FFS! No cover for BTA either, forced to use Jed Wallace there at times, we were always hard to play against and no one saw us as an easy game. There's a reason most of the rest of the league, fans, players and managers said Corberan was the best in the league.

Over coached us though. Too many 1-0 wins.

Can’t say I enjoyed the slow passing amongst our defence, waiting for gaps to appear but I never wanted him to leave the club or be sacked. He was integral to making us competitive, that said the fact we then brought in fugging TM is a huge reason we are lamenting CC’s departure also.

CC is an excellent coach and it was a blow to lose him, but in the end it was the TM appointment that truly knackered our season.

I still believe with the right appointment we will have a chance of top 6 next year.

Agree - competent coach with the backing TM received would have made the playoffs, but I doubt many would have left us in the top 6 at Christmas with the resources CC had.


There are absolutely coaches out there that have CC’s ability that are within our reach, but they will require us actually looking. We got very fortunate that CC landed in Gourlay’s ample lap. We can’t rely on that kind of fortune again.

Imo it's becoming increasingly obvious that our main target is the spurs guy.Any managers who were likely to have been sacked have been so I think next week when the spurs season s over we will see more come out of the club regarding RM .

Why does it mean it’s most likely to be Mason? There’s an MLS mid season break in a couple weeks, maybe things will become more clear then with Ramsay?

Most European leagues have wrapped up this weekend… so I expect there’re to be sackings in the coming weeks, and the managers who are out of work and watching will have a clearer idea on what’s available.

Well under Mowbray we certainly fell out of love with winning.
