I'd probably go to a 3 with Diakite splitting them or using Gilchrist in his best position RCB.

The howls at the formation would be unbearable though.

Indeed - the formation wasn't the issue in the back 3, more so the organisation and asks of the individuals in each position. We executed 3 at the back several times under Mason without any issues, and indeed against Charlton we looked very comfortable playing that way.

I have no idea what to expect tonight, but the thought of Taylor at CB in a back 4 does not fill me with any optimism!

There's been a few times this season I've thought we should execute the back 3....
I dread saying it before the game but Taylor actually looks better at CB than at LB. I think that might be the way he goes. Or possibly with Diakite as a 3rd CB?

If he picks Taylor then he has to disguise his lack of pace. Have a look at Stoke's best chance on Saturday. it is near the end and the winger beats Styles (a bit too easily) but look at the centre back who should be covering him.

Mohammed is out on loan at Gloucester, O’Leary deserves to play because he communicates better and did nothing wrong v Stoke in my opinion. Why bring in Bostock when Jamel played well on Saturday as did Wallace.
Can’t see the point in changing the side that did ok on Saturday.

O'Leary will pay for the remainder of the season I reckon. Griffiths needs his confidence rebuilt for now, fresh start next season if we want to continue with him.

Yeah, the keeper won't be changed unless he starts dropping bollocks at the rate Wildshit was. Currently he's got a clean sheet and only been at fault for 2 of the 4 goals he's conceded.

Not bad being as he’s only conceded 4 and by my reckoning he’s only been at fault for 1 v Derby.

Reasons for change
-tiredness, 2 games in 5 days
-include 2 wingers who can beat their man
-do something your opponents will not expect
-we did not look like scoring against Stoke

Shame Mohammed has gone out to Gloucester, he could have played in the Cup tie at the weekend.

Recall Taylor playing well at centre back in our win against Oxford.
