Players looked out thought, out battled and like the team that had been in the bottom three most of the season.
What’s happened to Griffiths? Seems to be getting generally worse rather than better.
How we have missed Palmer.

In what world is Griffiths to blame?

Genuinely amazes me what some people see when they watch football.

Not to blame but just not very good and so easily beaten most games.
Do you watch the game ?

Hilarious.

He's having to play behind Mepham, Phillips and Taylor. That's what has happened. Palmer had the benefit of a fairly solid unit in front of him that was properly drilled and organised by Carlos.

Some fans have given up on Griffiths now, it's a shame, but this is what I mean by blooding young players, if things don't go right, they are written off while still learning. Griffiths has had to come in and be number one behind a genuinely awful defence, first under Mowbray, then Mason, and so far under Ramsey.

If he'd come in under Corberan he'd be doing much, much better.

Relegation battle lost. Not enough shots.

So he’s doing well then? He is better than Wildsmith but that’s not difficult!

Griffiths has played a lot of games in his career now and doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

He did fairly well in that run he had under Carlos when Palmer had a spell out injured, a clanger against Blackburn aside. Fully agree with what you're saying. Griffiths is one of the least of our worries and I'd much prefer that we continue to develop him.

It’s not hindsight though and some did say it was stupid to play three at the back without a proper right wing back. There are root vegetables on Mars that could have predicted it wouldn’t work in such a short space of time with no training.

He's played almost a season with us, during a period of downward performances across the team; he improved with every loan spell before this. He also only has Wildsmith as a teammate in the goalkeeping department; he was much derided, partly deservedly so, by fans, but Palmer had Button, who was brilliant with him for the mental side of the game. For 'Keepers that side is so important.
