I think he's a defensive right wing back who was asked to play as a forward - and it's not worked.

Hopefully Ramsay's still got some mates at the big clubs who can sling us someone good for a change?

Not just that, remember Eric spent time watching our games prior to him starting, so I'm sure he has decent initial perspectives on all of our players who've had plenty of time on the pitch. There's also that thing called "data" which many deride.

Ramsay already coached him at Chelsea so will be well aware of him. This was at a time when SIJ listed in the Guardian's Top 60 young talents in the world born in 2003 so he'll know that this lad has some real raw potential.

Never mind talks, just book the fucking uber. And throw a crate of haddock in the back seat.
What a useless bag of bollocks he was.

Great news!

However we now need a new winger.

Tis great news, personally I'd give Bostock a run and use any money we do have to bring in a decent central midfielder

He's got plenty of experience playing in Serie A for Juventus and Bologna and a number of England U-21 caps. He's clearly a talented player and it's a shame we've not managed to coax more out of him.

Whilst he's not been great in terms of performances for us there has been certain match day threads on here where he seems to have been the fall guy with certain posters even when he's been fine or there have been much worse performers. I do think some people are so obsessed about any Villa links (a club he's never actually even played a game for!) that it it clouds any kind of fair judgement of a player.

Agree with those 1st 2 paragraphs. Happy to let the new manager manage but I won't be slagging off the player based on irregular games played hopelessly out of position.

He hasn’t gone yet that I’ve heard. But certainly not good enough in the position’s he’s played for us.
Hope he is recalled.

As ever, the truth isn't as bad as some would make out here. He showed flashes but ultimately didn't do a huge amount so it won't be a huge loss.

Wallace can fill in on the right side for the moment now he's back, and I'd absolutely expect another loan in that more suits how Ramsay will want to play.
