Sounds like our own.

There are many, many sides throughout the pyramid that need a goalscorer.

Really? We create fuck all, and don’t defend that well... and other than a purple patch against Newcastle, mostly play turgid football

Defensive record has been okay recently. I seem to remember Djagne missing a fair few.

Decent goalscorer up top and we'd be in with an outside chance.

Our fans apply different logic to Brighton than to our own squad. Diagne has a higher XG than any player since he arrived but we're simply terrible while Brighton are just "missing a goal scorer".

Truth is we're still shit, but Brighton aren't much cop either.

Yep.

I enjoy a yoghurt on a warm summers evening.

A selection of fine pastries is also a good addition with a tub of clotted cream.

Yuuuuuuum!

Brighten were as excellent as Toon were poor tonight.

Fully agree with Prag, they sign Ivan Toney in the summer & they would be top half with an easy on the eye style & have excellent defenders getting more Prem experience all the time.

I'll have a hundred quid with you that they won't sign Ivan Toney.

Brighton will be in a similar sort of position next season.

Even if they did. Maupay got 25 goals from open play in the Championship. Currently Toney has 20 with 9 games to go. It won't make a difference if their coaches don't know how to train their strikers to put the ball in the net.

They won't.

They'll struggle next season.

Mind you, with the likes of Norwich and Watford coming up they'll probably be okay.

Newcastle without Saint Maxim and Wilson are fucking wank and we never payed a glove on them.

We had more shots against Newcastle than Brighton did. If we had a semi competent striker it wouldn't have even been a contest.

Maybe you didn't watch the game?

Yeah they won't go down. Another 60 million on top of the 90 they've already spent in the past two seasons should see them comfortably safe

Correct.

We've been a decent goalscorer away from a good few points for a while.

Yeah a goalscorer in our team we'd be a lot closer to survival.

Yup.

And highlights the reason (a) why teams don't let decent forwards to in January and (b) Why Djiagne is a the Albion, sadly.
