Hes going to struggle to get a job full stop now then. Unless he does it all again at another lower club.

TBH he'd be able to get pretty much any job in the Championship. Maybe not at Prem level

Didn't we try and prize him away from Sheff U before Bilic when there a bit of a power struggle going on?

I think we'll be all over this. I like him as a manager but the big question marks are his signings in the Prem though. Anyone who swaps Robinson for Burke isn't thinking all that clearly imo.

Id still go for him mind.

I would certainly try for him if Allardyce leaves, But I want Big Sam to stay changed my mind on him. Don’t like him as a person but he knows how to set a side up and bring the right calibre of player in. But Wilder would be an excellent choice otherwise.

Ditto.

Seems a rather odd decision, given they are already down, and he (IMO) is their best chance of getting promoted.

He clearly is a good manager but he also actively wanted Burke, who is one of the worst players I've ever seen on a football pitch and I've watched a fair amount of lower league stuff.

We don't know the full story, but he clearly got things badly wrong this season and he may need some time away from football to reflect upon that.

Spot on.  His win ratio is excellent - up to this season

Apparently Wilder has thrown a fit after being told Sheffield United were going to employ a technical director.

Most Champ clubs use a DoF now too. As do many League 1 clubs.
