Not saying she deserved what she got etc just answering a simple question.

She was a normal human being with flaws like the rest of us.

It's a terrifible business all of this.

Does anyone think a significant percentage are still sticking to the rules? If so I admire their faith in society! I know some are, but it’s way way below 50% IMO.

I reckon I’m gonna get some stick for this, while over half the board thinks ‘he’s honest and spot on, but I’m not going to admit it myself’

The only thing they are sticking to is not going to the pub as its not open....... Going around people's houses etc is a done thing what I can see on my street. They don't give a flying fuck

I barely know anyone sticking to the rules now. I don’t mind admitting I’m not. Even those I know who were sticking to them back in Nov/Dec have changed the last few weeks. Roads are busy everywhere at night, so it must be people visiting others. I think people’s mental health has required them to see people. Plus some think lockdowns never going to end anyway so might as well break them. Then there’s others who feel much safer now older relatives are vaccinated. I dont think it’s necessarily that they dont give a fuck. I think they just give a fuck about other things more.

Would be good to do a poll on here to see if people are sticking to the rules or not, but without perhaps showing who voted yes and no? So folk are comfortable being honest? I’d set it up but I’ve no idea how to!

Police officer now arrested on suspicion of murder.

Grim.

Not just a standard police officer but a member of the Diplomatic Protection Service and based at Westminster apparently.
Actually more likely to be Sub Standard. A lot of people might think that and the Press may make something of it but absolutely not the case.
They protect buildings - not people and many are not even armed. They are well paid Group 4 men in effect.
They are frequently coming to the end of their service/lazy/poor discipline record/useless or a mixture of any of those and have been moved there for an easy life or fuck them off out of the way.
They will have dealt with less police work in their entire careers than a real officer will have done in the last month.
As with many Met. they will be full of piss shit and self importance and talk about the job more than do it.

The facts have yet to come out but if it is as it seems I hope he gets bull fucked. I know many that will volunteer to do it.

Sounds like a great deal of planning. Might not be the first women he's killed.
A terrible set of circumstances and my condolences go out the victim's family.

There was another officer a few months ago who killed his lover who was his colleague's wife.

Horrifically, the rozzers protect and serve has turned into disect and swerve the blame for some scumbags.
The last sentence is utter bullshit and anytime you want to prove what you say I will be here waiting for your evidence.
