Celtic got him for £5mil and he's taking a significant wage cut from £60k a week. Yet apparently a host of PL clubs were in for him. I don't think so.

A non goal scoring goal scorer.  We can never have enough of those type of players.

And he played just over 2 hours of PL football in total for West Ham, so it’s a bit hard to judge...

He had 2 goals and 2 assists in 3 games for Basel before leaving!

Duffy now Celtic favourites,  Antonee Robinson now Fulham enter  race, Grbic Croatian goalkeeper due medical at Athletico Madrid.  These are all media rumours and they are all players said to be wanted by Albion. Hope we have a long list.

Well we’re definitely fucked then.

If Celtic favourites then we don't want him.  

Everton are the latest to be linked with Robinson. 

The list of players linked with us so far is about 50 - at least - with probably 95% of those absolutely bollox.  

The only two links I would put any credence on at the moment are Krov and Callum Robinson, the rest is general 'promoted club need to sign players' tripe.

West Ham apparently have issues with cash flow, and need players off the books, so were fine with taking a £3 million hit in a year.

Might be worth a cheeky low bid for Diangana.

Jeff Hendrick and Ryan Fraser now being mooted as additions.

On frees both would be great, as we sorely need bodies in those roles.

Does feel a little like our commitment to lowering the squad age is going out the window here...

28 and 26 respectively, it's not a massive issue, and i am certainly in favour of lowering the average age of our squad.

With Fraser think there is a possibility of making a profit - he needs to up his game, think he was poor (mainly in terms of attitude) for Bournemouth last season.

28 and 26 respectively, it's not a massive issue, and i am certainly in favour of lowering the average age of our squad.

Tbf it was a bit tongue in cheek. 

I have no issues with Hendrick and Fraser signing on frees. They’ll have big wages and signing on fees, but it’ll amount to less than buying someone too... it’s playing 8m for the likes of Duffy I’m not on board with. 

Until we sort the balance out I would have a ban on paying a fee for players over 26... but these two would both be excellent additions.

Having fumigated the dressing room from one lot of toxic-attitude-having tossers, we cannot be accumulating more. I don't want anyone with the stench of relegation on them, unless they are truly exceptional.

I think we'll get Duffy, Krov, Robinson, A Left Back, a Striker and a GK on a free.
