"Shape Shifting Lizards" is an antisemitic trope.

I was watching Kingdom last night and then the excellent Riot Women, a reminder of how brilliant the Beeb is in so many areas.

They make it easy for their critics. How many times has Farage been on Question Time? Why do Reform get more air time than the Greens or Lib Dem’s? Why do they bring on some Covid conspiracy loon/ Ann Widdecombe as ‘balance’ to an actual expert who’s devoted their whole life to medicine etc?

The first is a PDF of the leaked memo and the second is an archived page from the Telegraph

I stopped watching the Question Time shit show years ago. I don't see much difference between Farage, the loon Polanski or Ed Davey who was a prominent member of the the Tory led coalition that started this UK shit show. The obsession with balance memorably started with Nigel Lawson on BBC R4 today, brought on as a resident climate change denier

Absolutely no need. All it has done is give credit to his 'fake news' cry at everything said against him. The resignations won't change much because the bias seems pretty much ingrained there.

Exactly this. No matter what the orange crim said in his speech, he had already incited the mob by refusing to accept the election result and further added fuel to the fire with his dangerous comments regarding Mike Pence. As much as I enjoy a lot of what the Beeb has to offer and am usually willing to defend it there is no excuse for this sort of manipulative presentation.

The Trump clip is staggering. The BBC is huge; encompassing TV, Radio, online news media (news paper) and social media. Getting it all prim and proper is impossible. The coverage of GAZA troubles me greatly as the BBC exerts soft power all over the world and can shape events. The Prescott report is devastating on this issue.

I heard a good analogy this morning - if you try to stand in the middle of the road you will get run over by both lanes sometimes. I'm with you Rich, anybody at our level of calling for the Beeb to be cancelled is just being led by the nose by somebody who has a vested interest in the alternative or feels threatened by the impartiality (even if that impartiality trips over itself now and again).

I suspect the Venn diagram of people calling for the scrapping of the licence fee and complaining about misrepresentation in adverts will form a perfect circle.

The people were persuaded to vote for BREXIT, it would be a huge mistake to think that the likes of Farage aren't queueing up to re-enact another great harm on the UK.
