Agree. That's a classy message and good to hear his family are all Albion fans. I'd also agree that overall he's been a good servant for the club.

Note also - none of the ITKs saw this coming. Definitely been attempts to stop information being leaked.

All the best to him.

Selfishly and one for the financial experts on here, does anyone know how this will impact the financial side of things?

Decent servant for us take that atrocious Blues game out the equation and he did have some decent games especially under Carlos.
Good luck in the future Kyle.

Been a very good servant to the club for many years, and more than justified his fee.

He showed a lot of mental strength to overcome a ropey first season where despite being asked to play out of position on the left side of a 3, and use his feet far more than he should have to become integral in our promotion season under Slav.

Overall he's had far more good games than bad ones for us, and deserves to be remembered fondly.

This definitely expedites the need for another centrehalf, as with the Heggem rumours, we're now looking incredibly weak at the back.

All the best Barts, shame you had to bow out like this!

Overall he made a positive contribution to the club.
Yes he had some stinkers but the level of vitriol directed at him was unjustified and undeserved.
Thanks for your service.

+1 to that. I think he was far better than many thought.  Plenty of fans of other Championship sides admired him.

You don't know what you miss untill it's gone.

Does this mean he will no longer control the club and undermine the manager from the dressing room?!!!??!!?!?

Wasn't expecting that.
