Why would Fellows move unless it’s to someone like Everton come calling, Saints will go down and Ipswich will be right there in contention for the drop. If I were him I would hang on until the summer and see how the situation stands.
But we have to except bids first and Bikul won’t be taken for fools, they are clever business men.

How many wingers does one team need ffs?

Hutchinson
Ogbene
Clarke
Burns
Philogene

Szmodics has also played wide and sometimes they play a 5 at the back ffs.

Laughable on both sides if they bid similar and we accept.
Agree that Tom's aspirations should be higher and the fee at least £20m+ plus significant add ons.

Our financial situation was grossly overstated in the summer so imagine teams expected they could low ball us. January carries a premium and Fellows has continued to improve this season, he’s a few goals away from being a £30m sale and I expect Mowbrayball will help him with this.

Ipswich have overpaid for quite a few players this season, no way we should expect anything other than maximum value for him. I’d also expect him to be on Saints’ wish list if Dibbling leaves.

Given the Mowbray connection, would be great to get Clarke as part of the deal… £20M plus Clarke on loan til the end of the season and we review in the summer. as a permanent signing please. Smile
And significant add ons.

Burns is done for the season

I expect them to come in for him next week from what I hear but I don’t see us selling personally, not now, makes no sense and Fellows will only improve under Mogga and his value will increase dramatically as he improves further

Finally there is zero chance of us agreeing terms with Clarke with what he’s on now

Everton and Crystal Palace seem likelier destinations for Tom than either Ipswich or Saints, and better career moves too.

True that. IF the transfer does materialise (I hope it won't) then a loan for Clarke could only happen if they contribute a significant portion of his wages.

Spot on RS

I’m very comfortable we won’t accept any bids for him next week, it would also need to be silly money to be considered 25m plus

His value will only be higher in the summer and if we’ve any chance of promotion we need to keep him, we’re not under pressure to sell either

That would depend on who we could get in.

If you had transfers in lined up and ready to go in this window that were dependent on Fellows being sold, and you were confident these signings would improve the overall quality of the squad, would you want to jeopardise them by haggling over the value of the fee for Fellows.

£25m minimum and we can maybe think about answering the phone.
