Would like a striker. Danns at Liverpool on loan. Cole not got it & Dike can’t be relied on.

A box to box midfielder as back up or challenge to Molumby. Think Diakite or Mowatt next to Molumby  battle getting closer.  Whitwell can replace Racic on bench

Right back cover. I can’t have Holgate.

A quick winger if Wallsce goes

There’s no point in taking any loanee from Liverpool.  They demand that their loan players get a high minimum number of minutes guaranteed.

Not pointless if he is good enough to improve us Prag.

Looked a real handful yesterday, admittedly against Accrington.

So you'd drop Maja in favour of one of Liverpooks kids, just to satisfy their Loans Manager? Thats what they would demand

Where have I said I would drop Maja ? I said for factual purposes he would be a far better bench option than Cole.

Me or you have no idea how many minutes, if any, Liverpool would be happy for him to have. They might accommodate him being an impact sub at 18yrs old. doak doesn't always start for Boro for example.

I'd be interested to know how that sort of deal is structured. I assume it's a case of we pay a higher percentage of his wages if he doesn't get on the pitch?

So would dozens of strikers in Lg1 and 2. I'd rather we took one of them than a young, green, Liverpool youth prospect, who may turn out to be a gem yes, but we would be obliged to play them, even if we didn't feel it necessary.

Many of the loans involve a fee on top of covering their wages, and in Liverpool (and many other clubs since) those fees are flexible based on game time, so the more game time the kid gets, the less you pay. Some put penalties in should they not be involved.

Allegedly we can't send Racic back unless his club agree.

Cole and Frabotta, why hold onto players who aren't going to play?

Cole does play. Apparently.

We should probably see who Wicky wants to keep first. Frabotta hasn't looked up to much to me, but it's not like he's had much game time.
