Furlong-7 good going both ways
Ajayi-6 mixed bag, some good some bad
Kipre- 5 at fault for the 2nd goal, steady thereafter
Townsend-7 steady
Yak-5 ring rusty
Chabs-7 better than last season
Wallace-6 captaincy too much?
Molumby-6 should of scores
Phillips- 8 great goal, great attitude
Barts-6 should start in front of Kipre
Mowatt-7 did well when he came on
Swift- see above
Sarmiento- showed touches of class, although look lazy
TGH-anonymous

CC-didn't get it quite right, but positives to be seen.
Chalobah cuts the look of a guy who thinks he’s above us and this level , whatever we do we need to get his mentality out of the club , too molly coddled a complete waste of space .

Unfortunately CC doesn't seem to have picked up on what we all already knew despite his poor pre season displays

Just back - strange ratings on this thread:

Palmer 6 - my son said easily beaten on goals but would need to see it again
Furlong 7 - decent albeit ave Champ full back
Townsend 6 - docked a mark for gifting a goal. Ave Champ full back.
Kipre 1 - embarrassing
Ajayi 2 - pathetic
Okay 5 - looked a bit out of shape
Chalobah 3 - God he is shit
Molumby 7 - he is our best midfielder Carlos not no 10
Wallace 3 - woeful
Phillips 6 - lovely finish but mixed bag
BTA 6 - tried hard

TGH 5 - silly sub
Bartley 6 - woohoo a defender who can defend
Mowatt 6 - looked ok
Sarmiento 6 - mixed bag
Swift 2 - garbage but probably unable to play with split sides after hearing Chalobah was playing ahead of him

Carlos 0 - got all big decisions wrong. Ajayi and Kipre was a car crash. Wow who’d have thought that - two non leaders with a mistake in them playing together. Chalobah ahead of Mowatt with Molumby wasted as no 10.

No he didn’t - runners strolled past him. What does he bring? Nothing.

As much as I dislike Chalabah he did more than Okay who could only pass to the opposition and a darn sight more than either Swift or TGH who when they arrived were totally anonymous.

TGH played what ten minutes? Okay won a few tackles; Chalobah watched people run past him.

Missed first 20 by which time we were 2-0 down. Having seen the 2 goals now, the first was the result of good pressing by Rovers as when they won the ball back they were suddenly 5 on 4. The second goal though was just awful from Kipre. Defensively he's not much cop but he looks good bringing the ball out so maybe that's why he gets the nod.

Overall I thought our performance was a bit of a curate's egg. Looked in control at times and we sometimes broke well. Great start to the second half and the momentum was with us I feel until the multiple substitutions. Disappointed in Swift, who barely broke sweat. Sarmiento looks exciting but needs to work harder and learn when to release the ball. BTA worked tirelessly but utterly fugged with 10 minutes to go which partially explains why Rovers played out the game so easily.

Disappointing result but also some reason to be optimistic.
