It’s a brilliant game, probably my GOTY so far.
The dodge window is a lot more forgiving than parry and you can use it for most enemies so focus on that to start with.

My come down from RDR2 has been running through the full Resident Evil games. I have previously played Zero to 4 plus Code Veronica back in the day. It's slower going than I anticipated. 4 play throughs of 0 for the platinum. Now on my 3rd playthrough of 1 (a speedrun for the infinite weapons which will make the bonus difficulty run throughs quick hits). These games are clunky as fuck even with a modernised control scheme, I genuinely have no idea how I was so good at them using a dpad back in the late 1990s.

Finished DK Bananza this week, went on a bit too long but otherwise loved it.
Like the rest of the world I’ve started playing Silksong, but not sure how far it’ll get before I bounce off it.

I abused the rest at the flag to respawn enemies to practice…which also gave me more xp. So might be slightly overlevelled but i did a mini boss and the first actual boss with a few parrys so my initial anxiety at the mechanic has subdued a bit, but we’ll see. Loved everything else about it so far so hope I can figure it out.

They’re tough to play now for sure, spectacular back in the day though.

Over levelling in Expedition 33 can ruin the game, especially the last act... So beware... Then again the post game stuff still kicks ones arse!

Got two point hospital of Epic games as a freebie a while back, good to dip in and out of and a good upgrade on theme hospital from back in the day.

I picked up a cowboy simulator the other day - following on from watching Yellowstone.
Quite the time consumer as bad as it is - it makes for a good brainless endeavour.
