The characters are really well fleshed out, none of them is a by stander and all play a part in a successful run through.

Completed the story in about 35 hours, post game content, I'm about 15 hours into! It's a massive game, but the post game stuff is entirely optional.

Think I’m about half way through and absolutely loving it.

GOTY so far by some distance.

Expedition 33 was brilliant and I'm struggling see what can beat it for GOTY.

Just coming to the end of the new Doom (The Dark Ages), which is a strange one because I loved the last two remakes and the moment to moment "killing demons in the most gruesome ways possible" gameplay is still fantastic, but it has some real issues.

1. It's too long, 22 chapters all at least an hour plus. It's becoming a slog to finish.
2. Loads of cut scenes and a plot that nobody cares about.... who is playing Doom for the plot?!?
3. Boring and shite mech and dragon sections, again, who was asking for this shit in a DOOM game?

In short, fun but flawed.

Completed Death Stranding - really enjoyed it but i’d struggle to explain to anyone why its good. Just started cyberpunk (free on ps plus) wasnt really feeling it at first, and the skill/perk tree is a pain, but done a few side missions before tackling the first mission proper (the heist) and that was one of the best set pieces ive played in a game for years, think i’m hooked in now chooms.

I just couldn't get into Death Stranding, tried a few times, it just never grabbed me.

I've gone back to 7 days to die, it's flawed, but fun for what it is (think better looking Minecraft in a zombie world)

I've got 99.3% completion on RDR2. I've saved the final mission of Epilogue part 2. While I fill the compendium, that's 99% done. Can't quite bring myself to finish it.

Star Wars Outlaws next.

Best zombie survival game around IMO - play it often and with MODS for more fun

I've finally got 100% completion on the epic RDR2. Have done very little gaming over the summer months but got back on last couple of days to polish off the epilogues and the remaining grave collectibles.

Need to pick something a bit (lot) smaller out of the backlog and try and breeze through one or two before tackling another biggie.

Currently playing Donkey Kong Bananza, which is an utter delight.

I have started playing Don't Starve together - which if you game with others is quite a fun time consumer.

Also re visiting Hearts of Iron - possibly one of the hardest games ive ever played! Anyone played this and have any tips?

Bought my first game in two years… Clair Obscur expedition 33. Love the tone, music, acting….but god I wish I’d realised it was a parry and dodge game. I avoid souls games like the plague….gonna be a struggle. Also not sure how well a mechanic like that gels with building a character but will see. Only an hour in. Guess i’ll have to git gud.
